Hi I'm Pauline,

 

I am owner/operator, administrator and clinical consultant here at the Parry Sound Laser Clinic & Cosmetic Centre.  I was a certified dialysis nurse for 20 years at WPSHC, satellite of Laurentien Hospital. I also taught the P.S.W. course locally, for 7 years, through Canadore College and Georgian College. 

 

 In 2008 I suffered a serious injury that incapacitated me to the point where I could no longer work.  Over the next 5 years I underwent many different types of treatment as well as surgery to try and correct the problem.  I was told by two different orthopedic surgeons that I would just have to learn to live with the pain and I would have a 25% disability for life.  I was not ready to accept this fate and began to investigate every possible avenue for chronic pain relief.

 

Then I saw an ad on T.V. for Ontario Barrie Laser Clinic, for the cure of chronic pain.  As a last resort, I decided to try this.  I would travel to Barrie, 3 times a week, and it wasn't long before I began to reap the benefits profoundly.  I was absolutely shocked and amazed at how laser therapy made me feel so much better.  My pain decreased significantly and my full range of motion returned.  I finally felt like "myself" again. 

 

This inspired me to research laser therapy further.  Eventually, I ended up pursuing laser training at Meditech head-quarters in Toronto with Dr. Fred Kahn. I completed my basic and advanced laser therapy courses and continued to attend on-line webinars and seminars on an ongoing basis. Shortly after, I decided to purchase my own Bioflex laser system, before long I found myself treating family members and friends on my living room floor. 

 

 All of this lead me to opening a small laser clinic on Bay Street in Parry Sound.  At first, I only envisioned a small part time business but business grew very quickly, and we outgrew our Bay St location which made it necessary to look for a new location. You can now find us on John St, in the old fitness gym building. Our new 2000sq ft, fully renovated building, which now offers even more laser options as well as an extensive line of cosmetic lasers, procedures and cosmetic dermal injectables. I have exstensive training in all cosmetic services, and specialized training in the area of Botox & Injectables. I have a passion for lasers and all the technology associated with them, after all it was my openness to new technology that gave me a rewarding life back.
